"Condrita" Monastery is situated 26 km far from the city of Chisinau and was founded by the Hieromonk Iosif, who came here in 1783 with several monks from "Capriana" Monastery. In 1918 the "Condrita" cell was separated from the Capriana Monastery and subsequently transformed into an independent monastery.
