The grotto represents a niche within the limestone layer with a depth of 9 m, length of 18 m and altitude of 4 m, situated at 62 m altitude to the level of water of Racovat river. Three layers of culture, belonging to the Late Paleolithic and Mesolithic Ages have been studied here. Over 8000 of flint objects were discovered within the aforementioned grotto.
